Dental Lasers
Dental lasers are devices that use focused light energy to perform a variety of dental procedures. They can cut or reshape soft tissue, remove tooth decay, disinfect treatment areas, and improve healing with less bleeding and discomfort in many cases.
How dental lasers work
A laser emits a concentrated beam of light at a specific wavelength. Different wavelengths are absorbed by different tissues (such as soft tissue, enamel, dentin, or bone), allowing dentists to perform precise treatments while minimizing damage to surrounding tissue.
